Milena Alpaca Wool Coat – Graphite

A long, straight-cut coat featuring an oversized pointed collar that adds elegance without restricting movement. Raglan sleeves create a relaxed feel and flatter a variety of shoulder shapes. The coat fastens with metal press studs and is finished with a matching fabric belt.

The coat features a lightweight and thin wool-blend thermal layer that preserves its silhouette while providing excellent insulation and protection from the wind. At the same time, it allows the garment to breathe. This premium wool-blend insulation is several times more expensive than commonly used alternatives and is reserved for high-end garments.

Designed for cold Lithuanian winters, the coat provides exceptional warmth without feeling heavy. When alpaca wool touches the body in cold weather, its warmth can be felt almost instantly.

More about the fabric

This premium fabric is made in Italy and distinguished by its unique long pile and special weave. It is woven so that the sheep’s wool lies beneath the surface, while the long alpaca fibres remain on the outside, creating an exceptionally warm and beautiful finish. Alpaca fibres have a natural sheen and feel incredibly soft and smooth—the quality of the fabric is evident from the very first touch.

Due to the unique structure of its fibres, alpaca wool is up to six times warmer than sheep’s wool, making this coat ideal for winter. Tiny air pockets running through the fibres help retain and reflect body heat. Alpaca wool contains no lanolin, making it less likely to attract dust mites, dust, or moths. It is also approximately three times more resistant to wear and friction than sheep’s wool, ensuring outstanding durability. The fabric resists pilling and retains the shape of its pile over time.
